introduction of the workshop

The sandplay therapy is a kind of psycho therapeutic, non-verbal method originated by Frau Dora Kalff of Zurich Switzerland. Clients express their inner worlds utilizing toys, miniatures, and a tray half filled with sand. We think about their worlds using Jungian analytic thoughts.
The relationship between the client and the therapist is important. We always use the sandplay therapy individually. But this time, I would like to try to use the sandplay therapy in a group in order to train psychotherapists. One group consists of 5-6 members. I try to make 3 groups, and arrange 3 sets.
The workshop will show you how to use sandplay. Members of a group decide order. First member puts a toy and in order next. When the last member puts a toy, the first session ends. At that time I take a picture by Polaroid camera. Then after five times or it take 30 minutes, I would announce the last time. There are three rules during the whole workshop. The first is I say that one time member put one toy. But he/she puts some toys in order to make playing boys and girls. The second is that in his/her order he/she removes any toys inside the sandbox but he/she dose not put out any toys from the sandbox. The third is that members do not keep silence during making a picture. After making pictures members talk together about the pictures seeing pictures taken by Polaroid camera.
15-18 members will be invited to the 3 groups.
